About Shari

A Wealth of Experience in the Performing Arts

Shari Saunders' extensive experience includes performances with the Canadian Opera Company, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Boston Symphony, the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. Shari began singing at an early age and trained formally at l'Universite de Montreal, completing both a Bachelors and Master's degree in music under the guidance of her mentor, Louise Andree. Other mentors include musical conductors and directors such as: Kurt Masur (New York Philharmonic Orchestra); Martin Isepp and Andrew Parrott (English National Opera Company); Jeanne Lamon (Tafelmusik Baroque Orhestra); and Lofti Mansouri (Canadian Opera Company).
